These are the main items your audience is looking for: - Job Title (does it match? is it even close?) - Location (unless the role is 100% remote, but even then, time zone matters) - Industry (this is the most overlooked item that carries the most weight) - Experience Level (do you have enough professional experience to qualify?) - Average Tenure (if you have a history of job hopping, you're probably scaring most hiring managers away, too risky) - Tools (are you showing where you've used the tools and tech they are looking for or just listing it once at the very bottom of your resume?)

Why is it so difficult for some people for share their interview availability? This is based on countless real life conversations I've had. Every recruiter has. Most folks understand how to answer the question and make it easy. But not everybody. When a recruiter calls with an interview request and asks about your interview availability, just make it easy and share the next 3 windows of time open on your calendar. Keep it simple.

These days, with all the RTO mandates, you also need to be in the right location to be considered. That makes 6. If the role requires a DEI candidate, you'll need to fit the right demographic to be considered. That means you need have 7 matching attributes to be considered the perfect candidate. Target roles where you meet as many of those as you can.
